Marsupials common around the Holbrook area are:

    • Common Brushtail Possum (Trichosurus vulpecula)
    • Common Ringtail Possum (Pseudocheirus peregrinus)
    • Eastern Grey Kangaroo (Macropus giganteus)
    • Sugar Glider (Petaurus breviceps)
    • Squirrel Glider (Petaurus norfolcensis)
    • Common Wombat (Vombatus ursinus)
    • Yellow-footed Antechinus (Antechinus flavipes)

The Holbrook area is home to 6 different species of bats:

  • Inland broad-nosed bat (Scotorepens balstoni)
  • Gould’s Wattled Bat (Chalinolobus gouldii)
  • Chocolate Wattled Bat (Chalinolobus morio)
  • Little Forest Bat (Vespadelus vulturnus)
  • White-striped Freetail Bat (Tadarida australis)
  • Large-footed Myotis (Myotis macropus)
